Biggs Junction

Close to Biggs Junction at the mouth of the Deschutes River on the mighty Columbia River we fish for fall king salmon also know as “up river brights”. These beautiful fish arrive from the ocean in early September and the can tip the scales up to forty pounds. These fish pool up in the Columbia at this location because the Deschutes River outflow is a few degrees cooler than the Columbia. Lodging is available in Rufus Oregon at the Hillview Inn or close by at Biggs Junction or The Dalles.
A Washington or Oregon fishing license and catch card is required.
